I went to the town hall meeting at the Como Park Pavilion Sat. morning, Feb 28, 2009. Senator Ellen Anderson addressed the group then responded to questions and made note of suggestions.

Last fall the City of Saint Paul explained the process for redeveloping the Como Park swimming pool. The adjacent Woodland Classroom and McMurray Field area along with their parking and traffic needs will be included in the redesign. I noticed cars parking everywhere Sunday Sept 22 so I went to see what was going down at Como Park. I was just in time to see the beginning of the Buddy Walk (benefit for Downs syndrome).
Living in Como Park is great. I am within walking distance from a conservatory, a zoo, a lake, a golf coarse, a wonderful natural woods, and many, many activities that are going on almost nightly.
Como Park is almost too much of a good thing judging from the traffic and parking congestion.

Music boxes of all sizes can be heard south of the pavillion at Como Park by Como Lake every year. This year it was the first weekend in June.
Ann and I went to see the Spring Flower show at the Como Park Conservatory.
